Metal Networks.AI welcomes Dr. Andrea Lodi to the Advisory Team
May 1 st 2020 – Metal Networks.AI is pleased to announce the addition of Dr.Andrea Lodi to its growing advisory team serving as Chief Data Scientist. Dr. Lodi is a leading professor and researcher in developing new data models & algorithms for real-time decision-making for the supply chain industry. He’s published over 80 papers in top scientific journals and is active in the field of artificial intelligence applications for early stage technology companies.
Dr. Lodi is Canada Excellence Research Chair at Polytechnique Montréal and an associate member of Mila, a research institute in artificial intelligence specializing in the field of deep learning. He serves as Scientific Co-Director at Ivado Institute for Data Valorization specializing in data science, operations research and AI. He is a Chief Scientist with Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) that helps massively scalable seed stage science & technology companies and is affiliated with Scale AI which is an innovation hub for accelerating AI-powered supply chain technologies.

Dr. Lodi received a PhD in System Engineering from the University of Bologna in 2000 and has been a Herman Goldstine Fellow at the IBM Mathematical Research Center, NY in 2005–2006. Dr. Lodi was awarded the 2010 Google Faculty Research Award and the 2011 IBM Faculty Award.
